Having spent most of my career working for large corporations, reporting to boards or investors, I have really loved helping small business owners who have poured their time, treasure and talent into achieving their dreams and achieving success, however they define it. It is infinitely more satisfying to help them, reduce their burdens and celebrate their victories.
I am involved with our church. I relax by trying new recipes in our kitchen and spend way too much time trying to keep up with the gardening, weeding and maintaining our 3 ½ acres in Fallbrook.
We don’t have any pets unless you include coyotes, bobcats, roadrunners and rattle snakes. My wife and I love hiking in Sedona and try to get there at least twice a year to enjoy the trails. We also spend a LOT of time at Disneyland.
I went to college on a music scholarship and my band auditioned for the Gong Show back in the 70s (we didn’t get picked) and we also auditioned at the Roxy in Hollywood (we didn’t get hired there either). Oh well, accounting it is.
Telekinesis, which is moving things with my mind. I often fantasize about picking weeds, cleaning the kitchen or trimming the trees by just thinking about it….instantly.
I only drink black coffee, but once in a while I will just order 5 shots of espresso; I call it a “Rude Awakening”, and like the way it makes my lips numb.
I once worked on a commercial boat harvesting sea urchins using surface air for 1 ½ cents a pound. I only stayed on that job for a couple of days.
I have always wanted to visit New Zealand. I have also never been white water river rafting. Maybe I will combine those two goals and visit Queenstown NZ for an epic trip soon.
