I’ve always enjoyed training new staff. I strive to be a supportive, helpful, and reliable manager—someone who creates space for questions and offers grace as new team members find their footing. Building trust early on is important to me, and I aim to set a strong foundation for positive working relationships from day one.
I have endless hobbies, ventures and passions. I enjoy metal detecting for relics, cooking various world cuisines, learning German, belly-dancing, hiking, and all things dendro (trees!) I have 2 kiddos – a teen and toddler so you can find me chauffeuring most of the time.
I used to make pottery so I have a few pieces such as bowls, cups, mugs and plates around the house that I’ve made and glazed myself!
In 2009, I lived in Chicago for a year with my 3 foot long iguana – Iggy Chara and ran an iguana caretaking blog and accompanying YouTube channell
Time Travel!!!! I’ve had a lifelong fascination with history. As a kid, I wrote short stories about historical events and as an adult my home is filled with antiques. Take me back!
If I drink coffee, I do half decaf and one teaspoon of maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of half and half. Maybe ice, if I’m feeling fun.
In 2009, I worked for Redbox the company which used to let you rent DVDs from a Red machine outside of grocery stores and pharmacies. I used to travel around with a trunk full of DVDs and service the machines and stock them. It was neat!
I want to take a river cruise down the Rhine River through Germany.
